I'm sure that a mom would be allowed to breastfeed quite comfortably these days in The Cloisters. Many states have laws protecting a mother's right to nurse her baby anywhere she has the right to be -- and actually, breastfeeding in public is not illegal anywhere in the U.S., although uninformed people often think it is.
